Ultimatrix
The Ultimatrix is a Level 19 DNA Manipulator, created by Albedo of the Galvan, one of the brilliant minds that helped build the initial Omnitrix. It is primarily used by Albedo himself as an act of defiance against Azmuth, due to his trust of Ben Tennyson using the Omnitrix. Like the device previously, it grants Albedo the ability to transform into an arsenal of alien creatures.
However, an unforeseen glitch occurred once Albedo activated the device. Since Ben’s DNA is the default form, it turned Albedo into a genetic duplicate of Ben.
The Ultimatrix’s primary ability is that it can artificially evolve certain transformations, granting them new powers and new abilities that are more powerful. This was activated by pressing the Ultimatrix symbol as an alien, causing four glowing spikes to grow from the dial and for the alien to transform.
Functions

The Ultimatrix’s primary feature is to alter the genetic code of the user and thus transform them into a variety of aliens collected across the Universe. The database is linked to the original Omnitrix and thus can only use aliens that the Omnitrix has current access to. The Ultimatrix transformations are the prime example of the species, being healthiest, strongest, and most versatile for optimum use, it even provides certain species with equipment in order to survive environments not native to their own.

The duration of the transformation lasts between 10-15 minutes each. Once the transformation ends, the Ultimatrix will begin to flash white accompanied by a beeping sound, then the user will revert back to their normal form.

Whilst the transformation lasts for a certain amount of time, the user is able to switch between aliens within the time frame by manually touching the Omnitrix symbol on their body. This can also be used to revert back to their normal form.

Despite it seeming more powerful, most of the additional features the Omnitrix possesses have been removed from the Ultimatrix. It is not able to scan DNA, instead relying on the Omnitrix’s database to gain access to aliens. It cannot employ an energy feedback blast for defence. It lacks a built-in translator, a two-way communicator, repairing damaged DNA, or displaying a hologram map for GPS.
As a side effect, the Ultimatrix badge that appears on transformations is exclusively on the chest/center of the alien. Unlike the official Omnitrix that accommodates the badge on random places of the aliens.

The Evolutionary Function works by enhancing all of the physical features of the alien DNA, as well as using nano-machines to grant them biological weaponry. The concoction is mixed with the original DNA and thus is modified into the “Ultimate Form”. The new forms are more combat-centered then their normal forms.
There are only two major drawbacks for going ultimate. The first is that it drains the energy of the Ultimatrix significantly, making the time it takes to be an alien shorter than normal. The second (and more importantly) is that the DNA makes the host a lot more aggressive than normal, as it pumps up the user’s adrenaline and cortisol. This also slowly corrupts the DNA of the host as the artificial nano-machines absorb the DNA in order to “ultimize” the aliens.
Albedo
Albedo is a Galvan scientist who was the personal assistant of Azmuth and one of the few people who worked on the Omnitrix. After betraying Azmuth, he builds the Ultimatrix himself.

Ultimate Humungousaur
Being the evolved version of a Vaxasaurian, Ultimate Humungousaur is substantially stronger and more durable than his original counterart, able to lift a To’ Kustar with one hand. An artificial addition to this form is that he can transform his hands into bio-gatling guns that shoot out missiles, destroying anything on impact.

Ultimate Swampfire
Being the evolved version of a Methanosian, Ultimate Swampfire can generate blue flames that are hotter than the sun. His body is populated with kerosene-filled gel that he can generate into bombs from his arms, hands, and feet. These “bombs” can stick to most surfaces and explode upon impact. His mud-like body is now made of tough wood, making him more durable and stronger than his devolved counterpart.

Ultimate Spidermonkey
Being the evolved version of an Arachnichimp, Ultimate Spidermonkey possesses a more gorilla-like appearance, making him tremendously stronger than his devolved form. His extra spider legs grant him more mobility and sharp pincers. He can shoot webbing out of his mouth and pincers, and the spikes around his body are venomous.

Ultimate Big Chill
Being the evolved version of a Necrofriggian, Ultimate Big Chill is much stronger than his default counterpart and he can fly a lot faster. He is capable of controlling the temperature of his breath vapor and thus, making them as cold as ice (freeze beams) or as hot as the sun (fire beams), he can also control both at the same time from his hands. He can turn completely invisible to the naked eye as well as intangible.

Ultimate Echo Echo
Being the evolved version of a Sonorosian, Ultimate Echo Echo possesses multiple sonic discs around his body that he can remove and control telepathically. These discs can duplicate themselves to project sound waves loud enough to knock buildings down. His metallic body grants him high durability and he can fly at supersonic speeds.

Ultimate Cannonbolt
Being the evolved version of an Auburian Pelarota, Ultimate Cannonbolt’s armour is much stronger and gives off a metallic feel. He is covered in spikes and sharp points that he is able to shoot out with precision. His ball form grants him more durability as he is able to survive the temperature of the sun with ease. His ball form is also much faster than his devolved counterpart.

Ultimate Wildmutt
Being the evolved form of a Vulpimancer, Ultimate Wildmut is significantly stronger and faster than his regular form. He can emit a thick smoke-like substance from his gills and mouth that clouds a large area, making his opponents unable to see, this smoke can also induce sleep. His claws and spikes can grow larger for slicing and he can even fire these spikes as projectiles. He can also produce a supersonic roar.

Ultimate Albedo
Being the evolved form of a Galvan, Ultimate Albedo is even smarter than his regular form (Though ironically not as smart as Azmuth). He additionally gains psychic and telepathic abilities that allows him to lift a starship with his mind and control a whole town easily. His brain can now produce electricity and energy pulses for attacks. He is also technopathic.

Being the evolved form of a Polar Manzardill, Ultimate Arctiguana is over four times bigger than his devolved form, gaining massive strengths and durability. He now possesses two additional extendable mouths on his shoulders that can breathe freeze rays like his own mouth. His ice can also be grown into icebergs instantly and flash freeze a small sun.

Ultimate Rath
Being the evolved form of an Appoplexian, Ultimate Rath is a lot stronger, faster, and more durable than his regular form. He gains more large claws on his arms that can slice through metal with ease. Due to the artificial aggression gains of the Ultimatrix combing with his natural rage, Ultimate Rath is a mindless rage machine that is solely focussed on fighting and only speaks in roars and growls.

Ultimate Gravattack
Being the evolved form of a Galilean, Ultimate Gravattack solely moves through gravity manipulation and can fly across a solar system in minutes. He can generate and control black holes through his hands and even absorb them back into himself. His rocky skin is more durable than his devolved form. His “moons” are sentient and can assist him with his battles by using their own gravity powers.

Ultimate Way Big
Being the evolved form of a To’kustar, Ultimate Way Big is five times the size of his devolved form, possessing his own gravitational orbit due to his density. His armor/skin is more rock-like and thus grants him even more durability. His innards are pure cosmic energy, allowing to project more powerful blasts from his hands, arms, and head. He can also generate cosmic storms with ease, this allows him to fly.
