Benjamin Kirby Tennyson was just a normal ten-year-old kid from Bellwood. When he began his Summer long road-trip with his Grandfather Max and cousin Gwen, he stumbled upon the Omnitrix, a powerful watch-like device that allowed him to transform into numerous amounts of aliens, each with their own powers and abilities. With this, he uses these aliens to fight evil and defend the Earth.

• The first alien he ever transformed into was Frostcomet.

• He wanted to become a hero due to both inspiration from his Grandpa Max’s “police days”, and because he’s a huge fan of comics/superheroes.

• He’s not that popular in school. But he regularly hangs out with Gwen, Julie, and JT. He has rivalry with Cash and his grades are not that good.

• Ben loves playing various sports. Such as soccer, baseball, football, paintball, and boxing.

• Since he is a child with superpowers, he is often cocky and egotistical whenever he wins a fight, not to mention he often exploits his alien powers. But he knows when to be humble and focus when the time is right.

• He only has 10 aliens for the first month of finding the Omnitrix. He gains more sequentially as time goes on. By the time he’s 21 he has access to almost 500 aliens.

• Despite his transformations being instant, Ben admits that transforming feels like the in-between of a really good stretch and a slight cramp.

• Ben’s favourite alien to be is Ravenstorm.

• The plumbers advise Ben to maintain a secret identity in order to preserve that Earth is a Level 2 planet that's not ready for alien integration. Unfortunately his secret is revealed almost five-and-a-half years after he found the Omnitrix. But by then he had become a galactic hero.

Due to his age, Ben is cocky, childish, and often selfish, Ben's immaturity and attention-seeking behavior often led him to joke around, regardless of the situation. Despite some childish attitude, he was heroic, caring and generally good-natured, always willing to save others at any time even at the risk of himself.
